Sustainability

Buying Fairtrade certified cotton enables the producers that grow it to have fair prices and decent working conditions. A portion of the purchasing price of Fairtrade certified cotton is invested by producers in social, environmental and economic development projects.

There are strict Fairtrade certification standards designed to improve local sustainability and protect the environment where Fairtrade Cotton is grown.

Organic:

Why Organic Cotton? Cotton is one of the most heavily sprayed and treated crops grown around the world.

Organic cotton means cotton   that is grown without using   harmful pesticides, chemicals and synthetic fertilizers. These toxins are harmful for farmers, workers, us as consumers, and   entire wildlife eco-systems. Those chemicals can come in   direct contact with your skin –   many of them posing health   risks such as reproductive   disorders, birth defects and weakened immune systems.
